AP has the richest history when it comes to minute repeaters. Still, one of the few brands that has made carillons (more than two gong watches) in the past 25 years.

While I assumed platinum would be less conducive as a material, the sound is still incredibly pleasant and has a very deep and masculine character to it. Given that there are no luminous markers it will be great next to me especially in the dark - loud en... 

Since the original concept of minute repeaters was for night policemen to be able to tell time late at night when there was no moon (village clock doesn't ring its bells at night, so villagers can sleep, and not every village had gas lamps yet) - and for ...

Agree a lot - I think the front reminds me a little when you enter La Sagrada Família - organically angled pillars with equivalent fine beveling and finishing as in the back. Blued hands, and that font!!! Peter

Is hidden in this small button next to the winder. I had originally assumed it was to advance the jump hour, but it actually is to advance the Minute Repeater by one hour - which allows you to run a second time! So a bit of a harmonic GMT function - and y...  

Peter, I could not be happier to see this new acquisition in your collection! You have so many incredible Royal Oaks and Offshores and some Codes, but to add this piece is really a phenomenal pickup for you. I'm excited to see it posted more in the future...
