The cars were so rare that I never really saw one outside of Monterey Car Week or in London at the showroom. I see them actually more as art rather than a car (probably unfair of me to see it that way, Murray might not be pleased). So they didn't compute ... 

Reichman?? It's not really possible for me to link him with someone from the world of independent watchmaking. He inherited a certain design ethos, and did monumentally well with that, giving it his own taste and 'spin'. More analogous to Jorg Hayek perha...

I was lucky enough to see a McLaren F1 up close and personal in Mayfair in London well at least until Rowan Atkinson jumped in it and roared off and it is hard to imagine any supercar even now being able to surpass its unique look, performance and sound. ... 

Everyone focuses on the F1's superlative statistics; the top speed and the huge price tag at the time. However, I'm told from the friends who own these machines, the most impressive part is the lack of weight and the superlative suspension set up. I can't...

I'm not piqued neither. But if I drove one and understood one, I'd be piqued. Watch companies are the same. They don't want to pique your interest directly. They want you to read about their watch, get mildly piqued, then dive deeper on your own initiativ...
