Yes... The winners are hiring experts and doing the restoration. They're not making body panels themselves. They might even be hiring consultants and entering multiple cars a year in a strategic manner. But they're still doing something that's very specialized, not something anybody with money can do. Furthermore, even if I said, "Here's $100M" you cannot guarantee that I'll win Concours at Pebble Beach. No guarantees here... There's a lot of risk.
