I've been enjoying the ceramic Bathyscaphe so much I tried to convince my brother we should match. He isn't as a big a nerd as I am so that wasn't remotely interesting to him but he humored me and fell for the steel chrono. Same shapes but such different ...

Would love to hear your impressions. I have yet to see or feel one in the wild. As the owner of two steel Bathys, I am very intrigued by the ceramic option. Love the blue dual quantium complete. Only negative is the price.

Technically it is maybe the most engineered ceramic bracelet on the market with titanium screws and inserts in every link and the finishing is second only to the AP ceramics, every link is hand beveled and brushed. The ceramic being lighter and black just... 

I just added the 5200 Chrono on the older X-70 bracelet. It is a chuncky monkey, but I love the vintage style of the older bracelet. The links were a pain to remove. I had a hard time finding the correct hex drivers. Looks like the screws on the underside...

As you can tell I am not a bracelet guy. But I also don’t like pin buckles. I put my standard 5000 Bathy with the sail strap on a brushed SS deployant that I was able to source through a Blancpain boutique.

Same watch on the same bracelet. It is the perfect everyday-everywhere watch! I’ve never had any issue resizing the bracelet since I found the only brand that makes the exact screwdriver for it. See photo. Buy a pair of these and order new screws, because...
