Thanks for the pics,
I must admit - even if purists start throwing stones now- I like this dual colour Tradition with black+gray+gold combo a lot.Yes,It's rather fashionable, agreed, but it's pretty,so why not.I also liked the dual colour big Lange 1 except its really too big size although all people on the Lange forum detested it.
On the other hand I changed my mind regarding Breguet's position in comparison to Patek.I also once had the impression they had a chance, but now for me the game seems lost.Auction results are a catastrophy(minus 70% of MSRP are the rule),apparently no one has the slightest interest in Breguets, second hand dealers always will buy a PP(even for a rather mediocre price compared to many people's opinion),but mostly they straightforewardly refuse buying a used Breguet.
If these new pieces make a change I doubt, even if Breguet designed a watch(as You intend to say) that would include complications of greatest genius it will hardly gain collectors' interest as the market is today(I remember a unique Sympathique -masterpiece that had to be withdrawn from auction as it did not even reach the reserve price!)
I think it a shame, but at the moment IMHO Breguet has not the slightest chance getting ranked respectably by collectors after having observed auction results for some years now.
Should not say it here I know and believe me,I am the first one not to feal really sorry about this beautiful watches of a great brand.
thanks,
Lutz
