I really really appreciate the La Tradition in white gold with black dial. To me, this watch screams "I am a liberal conservative" or "I am a young conservative." It's a paradox and ironically I like it.
I know the La Tradition is all about tradition, and I really appreciated the traditional emphasis in the yellow-gold version. I truly feel this is what represents the essence of the La Tradition line. But with every new addition to the La Tradition line is so mouthwatering, that I find myself succumbing to the allure of a traditional piece that's not entirely traditional. The white gold version with the automatic rotor and subliminal retrograde seconds was quite a diversion. Can't say I like the rose-gold versions yet. Those haven't diverted me as of yet.
I'll say this much; the La Tradition Tourbillon as pictured above is perfect the way it is. No need to confuse me with a white gold version.
