Platinum Tank Normale...recently had the pleasure to see this one in metal !
contrary to the yellow gold version, the platinum one is a tad versatile, monochromatic and could be worn easily without grabbing attention.
In modern terms, this is considered 'small watch' but I think it is quite refined and subtle.
the multi-curved sapphire is impressive, it adds character to the timepiece and brings on a vintage vibe.
Yellow gold version for comparison....
I love the platinum, it was a LE 100 pcs and of course I stood no chance to see one until now !
YG version is quite beautiful too, warm and very vintage in every aspect.

I owned a yellow gold one but
it caught scratches easily due to the pronounced bezel so it had to go. A lovely watch though. I preferred the yellow gold version to the platinum because of the contrasting colour of the blue hands on the gold version. If the platinum version had blue ha...
I agree, blue hands on the Pt wouldn't have been great...I guess Cartier went for the monochromatic look without any contrasts

I prefer warmer metals but not a fan of the extra attention. I love the shape of the crystal, can't remember if they went for plexi or sapphire but it gives it a lovely vintage vibe.
Always loved the tank normale, either one is an awesome, but there is one caveat for me….
I’ve always felt it wasn’t “special enough”. Obviously it’s a limited edition and priced accordingly, but the case shape is a little too similar every other tank - in the current line up, it closely resembles the tank LC and must, a little too close. Dial...
The bracelet for the Tank normale are finished so well…
I would not think choosing between the two versions…both were fantastic!
