Cartier

You’re right.

They are different-very different-despite both being rectangular when you take in the brancards for the two. Two things lead me to prefer the Reverso. First, it is a true Art Deco design-especially when the dial has hour markers instead of numerals. Second, it sits on my wrist more comfortably than the Tank. I think that that slightest downward curve on the Reverso makes the difference. And I’m a fan of Art Deco-more so than the Art Nouveau era and the Tank coming from that time. But both are highly desirable and iconic. Both could fit in a person’s collection at the same time. And giving its due, the Tank is the granddaddy of shaped watches and Cartier deserves credit and kudos for that.
Here’s my Reverso which I only added recently.

I look at this and I see the Chrysler Building.
