A code that won my heart
I’m sure you have heard people throwing shit on the code 1159 release since day 1 but true enough the earlier versions are not good-looking . I personally find them very thick and clumsy and overpriced. However, I think this year AP has released codes that have changed peoples’ opinion. This is an example for a well-designed code. Complicated yet simple. Ironic isn’t it? The onyx dial has caught my attention and I enjoy wearing it because it is just so special. An AP but not a royal oak. I look forward to more beautiful releases in the code series. Bravo Audemars Piguet. I think this would have been extremely cool if the minute markers were to be available in Chinese. Happy to hear comments on the code series…both the good and the bad. Cheers

This is a good Code

The dial here is much better than some of the original releases. Very good use of negative space. I'd like to see it in the metal, as the mid-case is quite interesting as well. The outer ring track in your Flying Tourbillon is a minutes scale. The first v...
