Beater watch suggestions?
Hello fellow purists! Lately I've been thinking about getting a beater watch that I will enjoy wearing. I'm looking fir something that can take a beating if I go cycling, dancing or knock it around otherwise. Probably a used piece that I won't mind nicking. Something I can strap on and go with no worries.
Rolex is the first brand that came to mind, for example a 36mm explorer from the 90's (I wouldn't dare beat up a 1016). Or maybe an explorer 2 on a strap. Date just, I'm not do sure about durability.
I'm looking for any other suggestions someone might have. I'd like it to be mechanical (auto or manual are both fine) durable, and reliable.

Funny, I actually came across this seiko. It's for sure
a very affordable option. I'm on the fence about the diver look, but i suspect may be the sturdiest designs. I was considering explorer for a lot more money than the seiko due to cosmetics. Thanks!

How is omega for reliability and ruggedness?
That last one with the orange looks great! And so shiny. Will probably scratch up well! Was looking at a seamaster great white GMT. May be too pretty to beat.

Tudor crossed my mind. No chance yet to see the blue.
I tried on the red, and I loved it except for some gold accents on the indices. Felt like a deal breaker to me.

Beaters are different for everyone
