That the 2512 - the ancestor of the 5070 was an even bigger watch ?
The 2512 , made in the 1950's was a spitsecond chronograph with a 45 mm diameter. 45 mm ! and this in 1950 !!
And even bigger , a lot bigger was the Military watch they made in 1936. A stainless steel Aviators watch with a 56 mm diameter. Now a Panerai suddenly looks small
It's a pitty I don't know the reference so I can't find any pics on the net. I'm not sure if it was ever made for the public, could have been a pièce unique.
