Moser Pioneer Centre Seconds Movemet Issue
Dear all, bought this watch one month ago. The Artic Blue Fume dial is exquisite, the rubber strap is of top quality, and the watch wears comfortably. However, I am starting to have serious doubts about the watch movement. I have been wearing the watch on a daily basis since purchasing it. On the third day, I woke up to a full 5 minutes late. The AD has no logical explanation other than give it more time. I purposely let it sat idle on Thursday and the watch stopped at 9:48am Friday morning. The HMC 200 calibre is supposed to have a 72 hours power reserve?! The watch also runs way faster than the claimed +6 seconds per day. I have to adjust the watch every 3 days since it was running more than a minute by then.
I thought I would give an independent a chance, but it is turning into a disappointing experience š

Iāve read mixed reviews on Moser. Would def send it back since itās under warranty. Wonder if lemon law applies to watch. I had an issue with my 2023 X7. After a while they gave me a 2024 for the same price. So itās def real.
Beautiful moser , i have different watches from the brand and so far no issues yet .
Let the AD or Brand have a look at the watch . They will fix this issue
May be worth checking if itās magnetized.
Donāt believe Moser use ceramic hairsprings. I have a Datograph which was running way fast, banking and the chrono minute hand wouldnāt run consistently. Checked - and it was extremely magnetized. Ran it through my demagnetizer and it solved all the issue...

If itās not magnetized, I would
check to see if the hairspring is twisted. It could be a very simple fix that will take only minutes.
Possibly some QC issue..
I have a center second with the same movement for about 8-9 years which hasnāt given me any issue. Hope it is just a minor problem that can be sorted out quickly.
My new H08 was 5 mins fast after a month of wearing.
But I am not bother as it get rotated. But I guess vaucher movement does not equate more superior movement compared to ETA as I never believe in in-house movement vs common movement stuff.

She simply needs a bit of service attention. The H. Moser here with same movement continues to be excellent.
And is ~+/-2 seconds a day. You can have any H. Moser authorized dealer help you solve this under warranty.
