Absolutely unacceptable…
Had a similar situation with JLC…after the fourth replacement watch failed (similar to your issues) I went back to the AD and recorded my conversation (not my style but I had no choice) and although there was a “no cash refund on the receipt” they refunded immediately after I told them I had the recording. Otherwise demand that they live up to the warranty or replace the watch.
