Questions about Lange Perpetual Calendar
Good morning Purists,
I am visiting from the Patek forum. I have owned many Pateks over the years but have decided to try another brand. I love the perpetual calendar complication. I currently own a Patek 5270R and like it very much. I would like to acquire a platinum watch now. I have always admired the Lange movements. I think they are the best I have ever seen. So this brings me to my queries.
Lange has been making the perpetual calendar since 2001. I notice that some of the perpetual calendars have a visible pusher at 10 o’clock and some don’t. Which is more desirable? Why did they omit the pusher?
Have there been many changes in the perpetual movement in the last 18 years that I should consider prior to purchase?
For me and my 17cm wrist the size of t38.5 mm PC is perfect. I also think I will like the mass of platinum on my wrist. I have not tried it on or seen the watch live. I am sure pictures do not do it justice.
