Daniel, I do agree with your purist approach, which is part of the reason I prefer the Sonnerie for its purity and watchmaking pinnacle. Your thoughts on the AS were very well articulated and your "dream" version makes a lot of sense to me as well.
I do agree with Christian as well, this wasn't about making a pure astronomic watch, it was about showing the world exactly what he was capable of creating.. and for me, the fact ALL these complications are controlled by a crown without a single pusher is his MIC DROP moment. I hope this isn't his final "grand complication", but if it is, it's not a bad way to end...
