Chronometer love
I too have Francois Chaille's book. I am also a collector of Girard Perregaux Calibre 32A Chronometers. Only that calibre designation. I have four, three of which can be seen on this website:

I have a fourth coming from the United States, identical to the example on the website; pictured with brown strap, except with factory original steel bracelet. The number of these seems to be confirmed as 670 Calibre 32As. None of them have refinished dials.
I also have what may be the only 1964 "Damier" (checkerboard dial) with original bracelet, hang tag, box and papers in museum condition among my many GP watches
