I picked it up for a song and my son loves it so much. He would like to know more about it. He tried to Google it but nothing came out. He then asked me to try this forum. Any info will be appreciated, since I want him to learn to fall in love with vintage time-pieces. This is an excellent and challenging pastime. You know it.

Finding a Vintage GP with an untouched dial is not that common, Harrisans.
I have a look at these Vintage GPs and most often what I see is a retouched, repainted, restaured dial. Or... In poor original condition. But it is not exclusive to GP. I noticed, lastly, that the good vintage stuff is rarer... Surprising... Best, Nicolas
