I have had the steel Sea Hawk for about one and a half years now and if it had the black hobnail dial, I would have worn it much more often ;-) Even though I like the blue dial for it's changing appearance, I would really prefer the black dial so that it would become one of my daily wearers...
Any idea what a dial change would cost me here in Germany?
Well, the gold one is a beauty! I really like the grey dial as in your sketch, but only with the lighter brown croc - imho a wonderful match. My only concern is that I already have one Sea Hawk, but on the other hand I have 3 Panerais - so what ;-)
What I really like about the SH is that due to the position of the crown, it wears very comfortably. Also, the clarity of the dial composition is something I appreciate with this watch. Plus in gold it will be not as recognizable as other brands.
Such a shame that the brand has such a hard stance - completely unjustified in my humble opinion.
Cheers,
Christian
