Girard Perregaux

Pleasure!

Hi Christian,

the Sea Hawk is a pretty unique model and the black or "hobnail pattern" anthracite dial makes for a "classic dive look".
For dial changes, best to do is to get in touch with Tradema Munich (GP Germany, contact info on GP´s website). It´s likely to be less than what others of the great houses will charge, while reflecting GP´s dials aren´t cheaply made at all.

The gold models do have one SIGNIFICANT difference - they weigh a ton.
Seriously, a solid gold SH II on strap comes to +- 165 Gramm, which certainly is some heavy metal!
This is not a light watch in any aspect and thus it wears quite different!

Hmm, GP still is a bit of a "secret"...
Thas inevitable when spending more money on watchmaking than PR and advertisement and might be seen as a benefit. At least it´s a lot less "show off" than some others, while offering similar or superior quality which can be had for an interesting price. One might say, this combines to an attractive offering, which subsequently is appreciated by many fans.
So get them while they are such great value smile
The quality certainly will remain, but i´d guess increased demand will have some effects on supply/pricing down the road.

Cheers,

Peter
