Christian, in your post, you said its a pity GP take a hard stance, what do you mean by that? I'm about to acquire a GP Vintage 1945 and would certain like to know what other brand wearer think of a GP'er. Normally I wouldn't let that sort of things bothe... 

Well, what I meant is, that the brand is not as "hot" among watch collectors and watch enthusiasts who collect more than one brand - e.g. most of the people I got to know in the watch scene collect Panerai, Rolex, Patek, AP, IWC, etc. and in this group a ...  

thanks for sharing your views and I agree with you. GP is a good brand but not as well known. Apart from the complication and tourbillon, I find it lacks the finish touch of say brands like Patek, A Lange & Sohnes and VC but they are a lot more expensive ... 

I talked to GP with regard to the dial change and some technical queries, and I was really happy with the information I was given. E.g. a dial change is possible (which with other brands is not possible or a real ordeal) and it is imho offered at a very f...
