Horological Meandering

Collect what you like

If what you buy is of very good quality (lest's keep it that vague, and note that this is not an objective factor) and in very good condition (a pre-requisite!), then there is a chance for what you have loved (that's already something) will be appreciated by others in the future. Remember also (I hate saying this but I believe it true) that success appeals success. People in the future will want to associate whith what represent our times and is therefore succesful today... I have difficulties finding examples of watches that are now eagerly collected and that were not popular/ sought after in their own time.
