Horological Meandering

I'll do the same

Get out the 1st watch you bought, put it on and go out. Get some good friends together and start sharing the original intention of how you decided to buy this watch. and when u look at it now, how the feelings have changed or didn't change. Ask your friends to share theirs too.

As the old chinese saying -  " things r dead while human r alive". A watch by itself is nothing much once u go beyond the technicalities. What's more important is the memories that you have while wearing / owning it. What i like is for my watch to remind me of the times & experience of my life. In that way, a watch is not just a watch but a testimony of time in one's life.

Best,
Tyler
