If so how are these not more popular than the Nautilus? Since most Patek dress watches are made in precious metals.

But i think those 2 steel "sport" watches are way overrated. If i had 50K at my hand, i would certainly get this Calatrava any day, any time over the Nautilus.

I simply go for what I like. Sometimes I'll see if I can afford the watch in steel rather than gold. I like gold as much as anyone else, but I don't need my watches to be encased in it. Although I can't always afford those special Vacheron Constantin and ... 

I have a theme for my small watch collection — both fit the profile in different ways!

Two of them would be characterised as entry level but neither the price point nor the description made a difference in my decision. My one watch collection would be an MB&F Legacy Machine Perpetual.
