Nonstandard time displays, asymmetric dials, subseconds, remontoir, power reserve, PT case, manual wind, uncommon/unrecognized brand among the public, and BEAUTY. That's everything I can think of!.

without Remontoir de égalité/Constants Force, Zeitwerk would not be able to function at all. At Zeitwerk, it ensures the instantaneous change of the time discs and prevents the destruction of the caliber that the otherwise violent force of the huge strong... 

I should have been more descriptive, I think I understand the use in these two watches. For the ZW, and similarly for my Vagabondage, it’s crucial to the display of time / discs. I guess my question is more this general idea or goal to achieve a constant ... 

There are many ways to achieve the correct display of time. Not least the skills of the watchmaker. This is the explanation for the fact that at the time when observatory chronometer competitions were held, it was both the watch and the Master watchmaker ...

Btw, constant force would defy the laws/understanding of current physic if it purely mechanical parts. Many manufacturers toy with constant force notion, imo it can only be achieve if you have sensor inside to detect the input & output. Dun burn me as...
