Horological Meandering

....Which would it be and more importantly, WHY? Apart from aesthetics, which presumably you think it looks nice if you list it , what are the other reasons, if any, you chose this tourbillon? Would be nice to see what each would choose if you could only ... 

But of course, I will... Large balance - one of, if not the, largest balance used in a wristwatch. As hand made (even down to no CNC machine) as any watch made in series - and created by some very nice people and of course, most important of all, contains...

It is too hard to wear, for me. And most people I've seen wearing it look...well, a bit ridiculous, like wearing a tuna can on their wrist.

and having seen both (the older Omega Central that is) in the metal and on the wrist, I would have to concur fully on your point of quality of finish. I guess we should not be too surprised by the outcome as well.

but of course, so many independents and brands for that matter add tourbillons to their complications to show their skill that if you can afford one you would probably have others without choosing them for the tourbillon itself. just my very humble and lo...

As there are so many wonderful tourbillons out there (yes, the Haldimann; the Gyros; the Klings etc etc) this question at first seems to be a difficult one to answer. However, there is one that is so.... primary ; so.... elemental , that is selects itself...  

but this piece was highlighted to me very recently as one to consider as well.

Tony you should also have a look at Daniel Roth's first tourbillon, the single face version. This one is made by the man daniel Roth and not by the brand Daniel Roth. It's an absolute amazing watch and IMHO the tourbillon, if I had to choose one. GEO

Not surprised of your love for the HM1. As much as I love Max and likethe work pf PSM, somehow the "peanut" shape of the HM1 doesn;t appeal to me but I can see why you and many others love it to bits. The Diavolo.... yup.. gotta see that in the metal.
