Opinions on Opusntime youtube channel
Dear fellow WIS,
Normally I'm not really invested into watch youtubers (outside of Tim Mosso and, to a lesser extent, Federico Talks Watches) but as of lately, this Opusntime channel (Juan & Kino) keeps popping onto my Youtube feed.
This guy makes some pretty outlandish claims on how we should not pay more than some comically low price for whichever Rolex, AP or Patek he mentions (way below Watchcharts / Chrono pricing), how Rolex prices are "dropping faster than Bill Clinton's pants in an Arkansas farm house", "the quality of Patek Nautilus and Aquanaut is actually really bad" etc etc.
Oh yeah, and everything is "Unbelievable, unbelievable".
Are you familiar with this guy ? What is your opinion on him and his channel ?

Some of that doesn’t sound so crazy to me actually.

He won't get any eyeballs saying things that more legitamized broadcasters are already saying. You can't monetize nothing... Like and subscribe. I give the "Watch influencer" world zero oxygen

I saw a clip called the 7 levels of watches re price and what you get for it. Imo, there is a good deal of The Emperor's New Clothes in watch world. I'm not saying mid to high six figure watches can't be worth it in terms of technical and design prowess, ...
Listening to this guy gets old very quickly...
I had run into his content a few years ago and he has kept sending the same messages and using the same punchlines ever since.
Well, the guy actually is a member of some WhatsApp dealer chats and tells you what dealers would pay for your watch.
Therefore like him or not, as he says: “You do whatever you want” Those are the prices on the street…
Never seen him at any of the press events.
I don't think he's part of the English-language Press Corps.
