Horological Meandering

OUT: Audemars Piguet In: A. Lange & Söhne

It seems this is becoming the consensus choice, with Breguet being mentioned often too.  The Grand Seiko suggestion is interesting and certainly worth considering too.  My choice for ALS is based on their commitment to their high levels of finishing of their watches and also their continuous desire to innovate and take the hard road (new movements for new models when an one on the shelf would probably work).  The Datograph in 1999 put the Trinity on notice when ALS developed their own Chrono movement in-house...and continued building on it from there.  I am biased (I own 2 ALS), but they seem to fit the criteria quite well.
