Patek for me

 

I agree. There is just something about the graceful lines and curves of the Patek chronographs that, IMO, make their movements the most beautiful--beyond even Lange's chronographs (although the double split is a wonder to behold). But of course the Lange is teutonic and the Patek is swiss. Lange is more austere and technical vs. Patek which seems more fanciful and graceful. I personally have always loved the swiss expression more.

But for a simple hand-wind serially produced piece, I'd give the nod to the Richard Lange.
