I'm a watch novice so I hope some of you mayvens can help with this question. My daughter's jeweler sent her 11 year old Ebel Sportwave to Ebel for a new battery and pressure testing. The charge was to be $135. The jeweler was told by Ebel that they recom... 

On the surface this does not sound unreasonable for an 11 year old watch especially that you mentioned that your daughter really enjoys the watch. In todays, world labor is the real cost in doing any work so you can quickly see how the cost can escalate. ...
