That is reasonble

As Bill said, the watch is 11 years old so the gaskets definitely need changing.

Quartz movements have a finite lifespan, mainly because of the electronic bits (circuit board, capacitor). Even if the movement still runs now, it will eventually conk out and be irreparable.
