Horological Meandering

Thomas, certain accountability and responsibility must be there.

I can't disagree with your comment.

Thomas, there are many young, naive, new-comer albeit rich collectors out there who can be very vulnerable to the infomation they read in watch magazines.  They can't or lack of knowledge to filter those information they read.  At times, they follow blindly.  Of course, as you said, the responsibility lies with the readers as well.  However, I feel that the writers or the editors must have certain accountability and responsibility on the information they have written to public.  They must remember that the readers can't check with them as to whether what they wrote is correct.  Unlike watch forum, to most extent, the view or statement made will be "scrutinized or counter-checked" by others participating in the thread.

I do hope watch magazines out there at least maintain some impartiality.
