I should approach our Mountain Man Watchmaker... I think he understand the importance that WatchProSite brings to the Independent space - we are the premier brand forum for independents and without us... Independents wouldn't be as well known nor as accep... 

Many here are longtimers, we know a one or two.. or three-year wait is acceptable. If I may humbly say, WPS is *the* top-tier discussion forum. Another board does their R brand (or sister company T) giveaways. Another does more affordable group buys. Imho... 

It's a lot of financial risk. And WPS isn't really set up for it.

I could reasonably remember the dink's collabs. Nowadays not so much, there are so many... I am not so sure it's that difficult on the part of the larger brands to do a collab. Most are just dial recolors, after all, and it's a lot of "free" marketing. Un...

Well said. It's a shame though that Longines got it wrong when they remade the Longines Clymer had. And Longines keeps doing it will all the current vintage ''re''makes.

Hodinkee is nothing more than a well-managed business platform to make money by selling watches. And BTW a majority of the "info" sites in our hobby are similar. There is no different between them and Bob's beside the mass of "journalism" they produce. Mo... 

Although it’s not what it once was, I think that watch enthusiasts need to be more inclusive and less divisive. Hodinkee and others like Revolution/SJX do still put out good content for free that might not otherwise be possible. As well, some of the limit...
