The grey and grey-blue color scheme is really very nice and the tide complication is such an original one (and useful when by the sea). I also like the design of the tide hand and the overall look on your wrist is just great! That's a wonderful Christmas ... 

How much I will really benefit from the complication in real life remains to be seen but it is an unusual one for sure 😁

Although I did attempt to take penguins to the North Pole for a marketing shoot some years ago but was told they would probably freeze to death and that they do not appreciate being dressed up in branded vests to keep them warm 🤷🏻‍♂️😂 One lives and learns... 

I think they get dizzy and fall over when you spin them in the opposite direction "up north" (obviously guessing) but they seem quite happy to be living a few miles from me at Sea World AND the San Diego Zoo, where they are fed regularly and don't have to...  

That Royal Navy sailors based on the Falklands used to pull unsuspecting land lubbers’ legs by claiming they flew with a helicopter over the penguins, who were following the flight path until they toppled over, at which point they could be picked up easil...

Regarding the interesting complication: how is it set / read / used?

The moon phase is set by a pusher at 4 o’clock. The tide is set via the crown and read centrally - the paddle shaped hand indicates it, with the top (12 o’clock) position being high tide and low tide at 6.

You need a dedicated table per location but then close locations would not differ markedly. Nowadays that’s also a click of a button away online to find it and setting it is easy. I guess if you were at sea you would on occasion update it. And if you are ... 

A bit of fresh take on the complication (often subdials were used before) and a practical one in certain setting, too 😊👍🏻

Very cool, huge congratulations, and as someone that is a tide-sensitive sailor (grounded 3x this summer?), I am very impressed by how thoughtfully this watch was designed/engineered. I am quite envious of the 33 owners, and will keep a lookout if any com... 

With the requisite complications added on 😊👍🏻 Not many tide complication watches out there these days, so the choice is limited (Heuer doing one of the others). Will keep fingers crossed for you 😊🤞🏻
