Two GPHG awarded Grönefeld watches side-by-side:
- 1941 Grönograaf in stainless steel with caliber G-04. Limited edition of 188 pieces. 40 x 11.3 mm case. The tantalum variant won the 2022 GPHG Chronograph Watch Prize.
- 1941 Remontoire Constant Force in rose gold with caliber G-05. 39,5 x 10,5 mm case. This watch won the 2016 GPHG Men's Watch Prize.

Indeed, the dial is less crowded.
But to my eyes there might be a kind of conflict or contrast between the dressy nature of the watch and the sporty style of the typical Grönefeld design. I wonder if the chronograph isn't a little more in line with their modern and sporty aesthetic. Best,...
Both are amazing.
I am a rose gold fan and find the rementoire especially beautiful. If the chrono were in rg, I would probably have chosen that.
Only steel and tantalum, unfortunately!
