I heard of Gerber and Oechslin but did not get the MIH watch
In those days, I was "collecting" watches frequently (10 watches per annum) so I had heard of Gerber and Oechslin.
I had a few Ulysse Nardin watches and visited PuristS website frequently.
The MIH watch was too simple to understand.....surely an oxymoron, if there was one.
So, I missed out on an icon....that is a different lesson about Time.

I look back with a big smile to all those discussions about its simple exterior and the reduced 'complexity' we had back then. And refreshed ones when ochs and junior came out
with their 'unfinished' raw pieces. The MIH watch was a cornerstone towards this 'school' of watchmaking which, while not accepted by many, still enrich our discipline of passion. Magnus
