that independents approach watchmaking differently than the big brands, and thus yield totally different results. This I think is extremely enriching and educating, regardless how much one likes (or dislikes) the final result. This should not be a judgeme...

In those days, I was "collecting" watches frequently (10 watches per annum) so I had heard of Gerber and Oechslin. I had a few Ulysse Nardin watches and visited PuristS website frequently. The MIH watch was too simple to understand.....surely an oxymoron,...

I ordered it in the beginning of 2006 and eagerly anticipated its arrival. Back then the delivery from date of order was about a year. It has been a tremendous companion and initially didn't see much wrist time, however since I put in onto a Paul Gerber l...  

Not a rubber strap person myself and am still getting used to the silicone on the ABR. Seeing such a convincing alternative for the MIH is just another reason for getting one eventually. Thanks again for the pics - they do bring out your appreciation for ...
