I don't know the watch and just saw several pictures on the forum. I thought it was a very simple, very affordable watch.
Maybe because I am not very keen on the aesthetical design and style, maybe this is why I didn't have a closer look at it.
But your article is enlightening!
Indeed the Annual Calendar, the way it is done, is a great feature.
I guess only independents watchmakers can bring such project to term that way.

I think this is an important message what you highlighted here, Mark...
that independents approach watchmaking differently than the big brands, and thus yield totally different results. This I think is extremely enriching and educating, regardless how much one likes (or dislikes) the final result. This should not be a judgeme...
