Thanks again, Sidney. I do seem to have a wrist shape that lends itself well to a variety of watches -- which is both a blessing and a curse, I suppose

The wide angle lens on my P&S camera also plays a role, I think! It visually foreshortens things, so the smaller watches seem to fill more of the available view.
