I am extremely pleased to share that I just received my Urwerk 203 back from service. As I shared before, this was my first experience with an Independent, and I had actually purchased this from a well known auction house, which was also posted on Urwerk\...  

and that you received your watch back swiftly. Great work Urwerk !

And hats off to Independents. Maybe this is the next level of collecting which is next to become (if not already) the future of watch collections. Peter

I will definitely say this is probably the best service and after sales experience to date in my humble 20 years of collecting. I do have some positive experiences with AP (very recently) and some positive experiences with Panerai (late 2000's), but perha... 

But there is one brand (which I will not name) which I've been a little more disappointed with the quality and timing of servicing, despite the large production. Peter

Urwerk did a great job. My independents are fresh, so i do not need to bring them for service. I brought my Longines to service for the first time i serious start with collecting watches. Ones i brought a Tissot to service when on a morning it fell of my ... 

Sometimes the extreme scenario tests the bounds and limits of behavior. I think Urwerk could have treated me differently given that this was purchased outside their network - but yet, they delivered above and beyond this in multiple occasions - and I thin...

When i had my 103T in for a spa treatment it came back like new and within the time day told me it would take them . Kudos for Urwerk

I'm glad you had a quick turnaround and a wonderful experience. But mine was the complete opposite. The NOS 201 I had sent in could not be repaired (movement manufacturer went bankrupt) so I had to pay up for a 202 so I had to chip in an additional $17k f... 

Seems like Urwerk definitely dropped the ball in your case! Yes, proper communication is definitely an important factor! You cite a lot of solid examples where they were deficient and could improve. Thanks for sharing! These unfortunate events do happen! ... 

I wasn't going to post about it, because in the end we did come to a fair resolve I felt. But when I saw the glowing accolades, I was like wait a minute. That is completely different than my experience. And at least the forum members know not to buy a 201...
