Congratulations, great choice
It takes a lot of courage to make a commitment this big, but you definitely made a commendable choice. Even if only for its styling refinements over previous variants, this is a standout. The mechanical changes are a nice complement to a very, very special dial and crystal. Oddly, I was checking the news around the watch world only minutes prior to a livestream I host on YouTube, and this watch is actually one of the main topics of the show.
Small world. I suspect this dial aesthetic will be very influential around the industry.

I don't have a scale to put the watch on, but to my mind, it weighs about the same as my IWC Minute Repeater in platinum, but feels definitely lighter than an earlier Portugieser Platinum model I was interested in a few years ago. I really liked that one ...
