Rubber coating...
That coating makes the watch look like it's a Black PVD coating over a bead-blasted case. Good looking finish. Though I do have to smile at them calling out that it's Vulcanised rubber.
Being a dive/swimming watch, it's more likely to get DEET (repellent) on it and after having that stuff melt watch bands and sunglasses, I'd be wary of such a coating.
