Advertising does work, saw an advert for a Reverso after I'd bought my first mechanical watch for myself ( my Oris Big Crown, which I still have) & thought it looked good & if it's around X I'll have one.
Unfortunately it was a rather large multiple of X! I hadn't realised watches got that much back them. Took 4 years of uhming and arring before finally getting my Duo.
My bank accounts fate has been sealed since then. I might not have many - but probably a commited fan boy now.
