I am a bit surprised your Duometre was not sent back to JLC in Switzerland as I have spoken to a couple JLC boutiques which confirmed that the watch had to return to the manufacturer...
as the Duometre movements are serviced in their "haute horlogerie" department which is their high-end department that handles grand complication pieces and more difficult and delicate movements.
In fact, when I had my platinum Duometre Chronograph serviced in 2017, it was done so at the JLC manufacturer in Switzerland.

A few years ago when it needed repair. If I remember correctly, it was only a few months old, not sure if at the time service centers outside Switzerland were equipped to service this calibre.

Yeah, they did some to imply that there was some investment (and pride) and the Dallas facility. That said, I still like the idea of the watch going "home". Maybe in 2030...
You'll probably end up with all of them anyway so it's just a matter of priorities 😀
All good choices, which references did you see and which way are you leaning? One of these days I think a gold and black datograph would make an excellent compliment to the Duometre... 😉
