as the Duometre movements are serviced in their "haute horlogerie" department which is their high-end department that handles grand complication pieces and more difficult and delicate movements. In fact, when I had my platinum Duometre Chronograph service... 

A few years ago when it needed repair. If I remember correctly, it was only a few months old, not sure if at the time service centers outside Switzerland were equipped to service this calibre.

With all the mixed feedback on the Dallas service center I did specifically ask if it would (or could) go back to Switzerland vs Dallas. I was in no rush and happy to pay shipping but the boutique assured me the Dallas center does all the Duometres and th... 

Even with plain movements with any Richemont product until recently (since 2018). My latest experience was with my Big Pilot 5002 which had stopped charging itself on my wrist. Exactly ten days turnaround and the watch came back in better shape and runnin... 

My brand new Big Pilot Petite Prince was not keeping good time. I went to my AD who promptly sent it back to Dallas. 3 week turnaround time. Keeps perfect time now. 2 sec per. Day which is awesome. The new 5200 caliber movement is great. Double barrel =be... 

Yeah, they did some to imply that there was some investment (and pride) and the Dallas facility. That said, I still like the idea of the watch going "home". Maybe in 2030...

All good choices, which references did you see and which way are you leaning? One of these days I think a gold and black datograph would make an excellent compliment to the Duometre... 😉

Just wanted to post a quick update - I sent the watch back I noticed that the power reserve hand for the time seemed to be reflecting light funny so I whipped out the loupe and took another pass over the watch post service. It's hard to see unless the lig...
