Jaeger-LeCoultre

I totally agree with you on the difference you make between the Polaris I and II

The Polaris '65 is just a grail, an obsession for me, and the one I  posted here belongs to one of the Heritage Gallery member....Lucky Guy!

I thought a lot about what color of dial to choose, and after having seen the 3 in the flesh, I opted for the grey one, the closer to my Thema of Collection: Black Memovoxes...

But I must say that just after the grey, I found the red very appealing, with some sublime patined indexes.

I'm sure that any of these 3 will make your day, my friend.

The Polaris II is, I would say, around 1,5 or 2 mm thicker, due to the bezel, and the multi level construction of the case.

The E 861 is a ref I considered, because of the Ad with the Concord, gathering a Pola 68, an E 861, and an E 855 with the Ebony indexes...

But I already have some more urgent priorites...

Best, my friend, and thanks for your nice comments and great input.

Nicolas
