Incoming ! JLC Reverso Tribute Geographic
New watch alert! So this is the one I went for instead of the Milanese rose gold. Sharing my new Reverso Tribute Geographic. Lovely blue dial (that’s so hard to capture on pics so please see the different pics for various lighting on the dial) with a beautiful worldtime hand lacquered map on the back.
Bought this from the JLC boutique 2 evenings ago but haven’t worn it out yet. Waiting to wear it on my birthday tomorrow, which is also Easter !
I tried this and the Reverso Rose Gold Milanese and this won me over between the two. Was a very tough pick! The smaller sized Monoface fitted me better but my heart went for this beautiful lacquered blue dial and the worldtime on the reverse. Can’t explain exactly why but I feel this is horologically more interesting, suits my age better (when I’m older I may connect better with a gold Milanese bracelet watch) and I’m just too attracted by this blue dial and the worldtimer map !

The concern I had was the size but I have the Reverso Nonantieme and got used to the size already. It’s the max sized Reverso I can wear

I really like duo-faced Reversos and for unknown reason love grand date complication on a Reverso even more.
Maybe that's due to the fact that I can't read the date on my Reverso Tribute Moon with my aging eyes. Happy birthday and congratulations on your new acquisition! I'd love to get one myself in the near future.

Still enjoying it . Wore it to a JLC collectors’ gathering last evening with Jerome in town and I had to loan my watch to the boutique for other collectors to see as they only had one prototype lol.
