Montblanc

Meisterstuck...

means Masterpiece in German.

I personally am ok for MB to call their watches masterpieces or in this case to have a line called Meisterstuck Heritage. So long as they are real masterpieces and so far I think they are from the 3 hand piece to the perpetual calendar to this Monopusher.

I think Montblanc also uses "Meisterstuck" in their accessories and leather goods so I am used to that so no issues for a watch line called Meisterstuck Heritage in my view. Maybe because I link it more to "Masterpiece/craftsmanship (and the spirit of them)" more to their Meisterstuck pens specifically (which are not just the original Meisterstuck fountain pens the term Meisterstuck is also used for their roller balls and ball pens).

As for this Monopusher - I had already written my thoughts. Beautiful piece at a great value but a tad "generic/common" looking and not so unique to Montblanc's Nicolas Riesseuc, Timewalker or other MB Villeret watches which I feel are more special in the marketplace. However, "common" looks tend to sell better as I believe they appeal to a wider crowd (those who also like JLC, GP, etc will surely like this piece!).

Nicolas, thank you for sharing this report. Very well written and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it!
