Omega

So I paid a visit to the local Omega boutique yesterday and checked out the new Speedmaster — both versions. Loved them both, loved the front of the hesalite slightly more. A few thoughts: 1. If I go hesalite, will I regret losing the view of the movement...

Hesalite is easy to polish with polywatch. But it doesn’t look bad with a few battle scars either. Knowing they can easily be polished out any time makes them less of a big deal. Its a very liberating feeling. Also, received my 3570.50 back from Omega ser... 

For the bracelet (all brushed), solid case back ( which I prefer for these types of watches) and of course the authentic nature and look of hesalite. ...

Mixing hesalite with a coaxial escapement does seem anachronistic, but I learned long ago not to be too logical about these things. I like the look of the hesalite model better; I just wish they made a scratch-resistant form of the same crystal, with the ...
