I more passively aggressively not happy that Omega made such a big splat with METAS and then I see absolutely no benifit. Now I can’t stand watches that run slow. That’s a big no no in my eyes and if this continues tonight this watch is going back to the AD. I absolutely cannot stand slow watches it devalues the brand and turns me completely off from them!!!!
I am a big believer in say what you do and mean what you say. I view this as a blatant lie with fake statistics for their test results! They also try to compete with Rolex as a direct head to head and from my personal experience if Rolex says it they mean it and do it. Superlative chronometer Mumbo jumbo really means +/-2 nothing else

Honestly if you think -1 sec / day (and consistent!) is a bad value, you should maybe buy Quarz watches.

If this is Marketing bs (as you call it), then so is also COSC and many others. I do not agree at all! The certifiaction that DO make sense is 1) METAS (specifically Magnetism!) 2) Qualité Fleurier 3) Poinçon de Gèneve (optical QC)
