Thanks for the reply. I am awaiting it's return from a frien in Illinois. As you can see inside the caseback, very few hands have touched this one. I am glad to hear that the crown is indeed original. I don't believe the crystal is and I will need to find the correct one.

A warm welcome to the forum! Your watch seems to be all orignal and authentic including dial and crown! It is the original crown which was used on this reference 2318 in the beginning of the 40ies! Tell us some more about this watch please. Enjoy this nic...
